The charm of Gdansk Old Town attracts millions of tourists every year. We would take you for a walk along Dluga Street, one of the most beautiful European markets, surrounded by renaissance buildings. It starts from the Golden Gate, passes by the Town Hall, Neptune fountain, the Arthur's Court to finish by the Green Gate overlooking Motlawa River. We would visit the Arthur's Court museum and the Amber Chamber for an amber polishing demonstration with a short lecture on amber. The tour would continue to the Old Crane, one of the most popular symbols of the city, to finish in the Europe's biggest gothic brick church of St Mary.

Transfer to Westerplatte Peninsula guarding an entrance to the Gdansk harbour, a place where the WW II began and the Polish Military Transit Depot was fighting against 13 times more numerous enemy; continue to the Gdansk Shipyard, the birthplace of Solidarity movement. Stop by the Monument to Fallen Ship Workers (a homage to dockyard workers who died in December 1970) and a famous gate to the shipyard. Transfer back.

Stutthof Concentration Camp Museum (6h)Stutthof

Located only 40 km from Gdansk, Stutthof was the first concentration camp in Poland built by Nazis in 1939 and the last one to be freed in 1945 by the Soviet Army. During this period 85 000 people were victims of genocide. Visit to the camp would be a chance to see the gas chamber, crematorium, prisoners’ barracks and the guard’s tower that are reminders of this horrific time. Transfer back to TriCity.

Torun - City of Copernicus (10h)Torun

Transfer from Gdansk to Torun, the best example of medieval gothic town (UNESCO Heritage) and birthplace of great Polish astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus who made a crucial discovery that the Earth is not the centre of universe. During the walk along the Old Town we would visit the Copernicus House and the Cathedral with a bell tower offering a splendid view over the city. Time for a souvenir hunt could be a chance to try gingerbread - a speciality the city is famous for, that is baked according to old recipes and methods dating back to the 16th century; transfer back to Gdansk.
