Welcome to Poland !
Arrival to Krakow, Balice Airport. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Sightseeing of Krakow — the cultural capital of Poland with Old Town listed as UNESCO Heritage. During the tour you would see Barbican and defensive walls with Florian’s Gate, the Main Market Square with Sukiennice Cloth Hall, St Mary’s Church and Town Hall Tower. We would proceed to the Jagiellonian University, pass by Archbishop Palace (where John Paul II used to live) as well as St Andrew’s Church and St Peter and Paul’s Church to reach the Wawel Hill.

Transfer from Krakow to Ustrzyki Gorne.

Carriage ride through the picturesque Bieszczady National Park.

Day 3 |

Guided trekking through the Bieszczady National Park: Smerek — Polonina Wetlinska — Berehy Gorne (about 6 h); break in the highest situated mountain shelter in Bieszczady (1232 m) on Polonina Wetlinska.

In the morning ride in a narrow gauge railway through the forest — one of the biggest attraction of Bieszczady region.
Transfer to Turzansk.
Visit to the wooden Greek Catholic church of st. Michael the Archangel in Turzansk. The temple was built at the beginning of the 19th century. In 2013 was listed as UNESCO world heritage along with fifteen others ortodox churches in Poland & Ukraine.
Continue to Lesko
Stop in Lesko, picturesque village called “the gate of Bieszczady”, visit to the 14th century Castle of the House of Kmit, “the Lesko stone”, the synagogue and the Jewish cemetery.

Day 5 |

Full day trekking from Ustrzyki Gorne — Szeroki Wierch — Tarnica — Halicz — Rozsypaniec — Bukowska Pass — Wolosate (about 8 h); guided walk along one of the most scenic routes in Bieszczady mountain, on the Ukraine border, up to Tarnica (1346 m) — the highest peak of Bieszczady range mountain.
