Visit Warsaw — the capital city of Poland. During this tour, we will visit the most important spots in the city and will have an oppor­tunity to become acquainted with the some­times tragic past of Warsaw and the history of Poland. We will start our tour by vis­iting the Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the New Town. We will con­tinue our journey to Krasinski Palace, the Supreme Court building and the Warsaw Uprising Monument. After that, we will go to the Lazienki Royal Park where we will see the famous monument ded­icated to Frederic Chopin where we will have an oppor­tunity to relax in the beau­tiful rose garden and among the dazzling natural ele­ments of the park. You will truly forget that you are in a major European Capital City.

Free afternoon in the Market Square. Here there will be a chance to try Oscypek (smoked sheep cheese from the moun­tains of Poland) accom­panied by a cup of mulled wine. Nothing better than starting Christmas like this and feeling the Christmas spirit!

The Royal Garden of Light at the Wilanów Palace is an outdoor exhib­ition where thou­sands of multi-col­oured diodes have been shaped into artful light sculp­tures. All install­a­tions are bound to brighten up dull wintry evenings, and satisfy kids and adults alike!

Transfer to Krakow.

Krakow is the cul­tural capital of Poland with Old Town listed as UNESCO Heritage. During the tour you would see Barbican and defensive walls with Florian’s Gate, the Main Market Square with Sukiennice Cloth Hall, St Mary’s Church and Town Hall Tower. We would proceed to the Jagiellonian University, pass by Archbishop Palace (where John Paul II used to live) as well as St Andrew’s Church and St Peter and Paul’s Church to reach the Wawel Hill.

Free time. Krakow’s Main Square, being one of the largest in Europe, dazzles with its Christmas display. The space has charming wooden booths with a mul­titude of gifts, street food and set­tings for cul­tural events. Here we can walk, choose Christmas tree balls, look for and find ori­ginal gifts, buy denom­in­ation of origin products to share at the Christmas table, and taste a typical snack, accom­panied by hot wine or beer, or with tea flavored with spices and sea­sonal fruits.

Excursion to Zakopane.

The Tatras are the highest and most beau­tiful part of the Carpathian mountain range, the only one of its kind in Central Europe. The Polish part of the Tatras is part of the Tatra National Park, which is inscribed on the list of UNESCO Biosphere Reserves. During this excursion we dis­cover the village of Chocholow, we ride the rack railway to Gubalowka to admire the pan­orama and we walk through Krupowki, the main street of the city full of regional crafts. Return to Krakow.
